Today I received a private Facebook message from my ex-husband. Yes, we still talk from time to time. Our divorce was several years ago, and it was quite amicable, but that doesn't matter right now. What matters is the message.

The message I received made me stop dead in my tracks. The message made me try really, really hard to remember things that may or may not have happened, and then wonder how something could be. The message made me very, very worried. The message said:

"I recently found a photo of you. At least it really looks like you. It might not be but... it's topless. I can send it to you if you'd like. If it is you, thought you should know."

UH-OH!

The questions were flying through my mind!

Where have I been?

When was the last time someone took a topless picture of me?

Most importantly, HOW DO I LOOK????

I had to know, so I asked him to send it. I nervously held my phone in my hands as I waited for the picture text message to arrive. My hands were shaking, and I was shivering. And then, the picture appeared...

It wasn't me! YAY! WHEW! What a relief!

Something similar happened years ago, at work. One of the guys was looking through a bike magazine and said he saw a picture that looked like me - and it was a topless picture. He showed it to me (blushing as he did so), but it wasn't me. Of course, that was back when I was really shy and I knew there weren't any topless pics of me anywhere. These days, however, it's a different story!

Have you ever experienced anything like that?

Not Like What You See on TV

I'm in California right now and I gotta say - it's not really like what they show on TV. Granted I'm on the other side of the mountains in the picture, but still...

Oh, there was a cloud (smog) surrounding the valley as I flew in and there are palm trees everywhere... So far the weather's been cold and the people look just like the people at home.

Perhaps I need to visit the other side of the mountains... See what's going on in the big city. Rodeo Drive. Sunset Boulevard. Hollywood. I think I'll put those on the agenda for tomorrow!

I burst out laughing when I saw this comic!

After my laughter subsided I actually began to think about music and sex. Music is great to set a mood, but it can also greatly enhance the evening's activities (or the morning's activities, or the afternoon's activities).

Barry White is the usual suspect when it comes to gettin' freaky, but he just doesn't do it for me. There are two albums in particular that get me going. (Yes, I said ALBUMS, not just songs!) I don't know if it's the music itself or if it's the great memories I have of EXCEPTIONAL nights with these albums. Hmmm... We may never know the answer to that ponderance, but what I can tell you are the albums I am referring to. The envelope please!

Pink Floyd - Pulse

and

Peter Gabriel - Passion (Music for the Last Temptation of Christ)

Oh yeah, baby! Mmmmm Mmmmmm Mmmmmmmm! Well, were they what you were expecting? (It's okay if you say "no" - they'er still my favorites.) The first album was on repeat and must've played at least three times that night. I remember A LOT of rolling around and falling off the bed. Let me tell you - we made use of every inch of that room! The second album played as we enjoyed a titillating soak in a hot tub under the stars. The air was that perfect temperature that gave you just the right amount of chill as your skin left the warmth of the water and became totally exposed. Ahhhh, the memories!

So... What's your "make out" music of choice?

WHEW! I am TIRED! I have spent the past week sorting, organizing, cleaning, repairing, and painting. Why? Because I am moving, which means I need to sell this house and that means it needs to be in show condition. The listing went up this morning.

There really isn't much time, though. I will be moving in two months and still haven't found a place to live in the new area. TWO MONTHS! Now do you see the reason for the marathon house prep session? Yeah, you could say I'm a bit stressed. Of course, I haven't cleared this move with work yet... That's another HUGE hurdle...

I have moved many, many times in the past. My mother has an entire address book just for me. So why am I stressed about this move? Well, there's a lot more at stake this time. This move is for personal reasons, and it's not just across town. I have spent the past decade focused on my career and allowing my job to direct my life, but not this time. This time I may very well lose my job and career - though I hope not. I am basically throwing everything up in the air and have no idea where all the pieces will land. Kinda exciting. Very scary.

Are you someone who has moved around a lot? Have you ever left everything behind in order to start fresh? Are you the kind of person who allows your career to run your life, or does your job take a back seat to everything else? Tell me some stories and help calm me down, please!

It's too late for a white Christmas, but it is finally snowing here! Instead of grey and gloomy, the world outside suddenly looks bright and cheery again. While I'm not a huge fan of the cold, I do love snow. I love a pristine snow-covered field. I love being the first person to make footprints in the snow. I love watching the dogs bury their noses and play in the snow. I love how the snow dampens sound, making it super quiet and still. It's just not winter without snow!

Do you have any good snow stories?

I've been a very busy little girl as of late, what with the holidays and the end of the year and all. As busy as I have been, however, I can't help but take time to think back over the past year and think about the year ahead.

2011 was jam-packed full of events, good times and hard times (sometimes those were one and the same! ). I took my fitness to a whole new level and re-found the joy in simple things. Overall it was a great year for me, and I hope you can say the same.

As I look forward, I see major changes on the horizon for 2012. A possible move, a possible promotion at work, possibly losing my job, new fitness goals to strive for, and new events to plan for.

What are you thinking and feeling this time of year? What were some of the highlights from your 2011? What are you looking forward to in 2012?

All my best,
Knot

I am on this site to blog because of the freedom I feel to say ANYTHING without having to worry about what people will think or how it may effect my life. Certainly I have friends IRL with whom I can discuss anything and everything, but they are few in numbers and not geographically close to me. These blogs, however, offer me the opportunity to get stuff out of my head when I need to get it out, with the added bonus of receiving comments from all of you - unbiased and (hopefully) honest opinions. Believe it or not, I value your thoughts and opinions as they help me see things in a different light - they help open my mind to possibilities that may never have occurred to me. Thank you for that.

As of this moment, however, nobody from my real life knows that I blog at all, let along on this site. This blog is my private "guilty pleasure" for now. Perhaps someday I will share this with those who know me, but for now it's all mine.

Do any of your real life friends know that you are on this (or any other similar) site? Do you guys and gals out there trade tips, tricks, and stories about your online life and adventures? Or do you keep your online activities private?

Airports - they are a world all their own!

I travel a lot for work and I usually drive everywhere. I like to drive - especially in the summer when I can have the windows down and the stereo blasting! Besides, driving allows me much more flexibility and who doesn't like that?

In the past couple of weeks I have decided to fly rather than drive, mostly for convenience. Well, convenience in that I don't have to pay attention to the road for 10+ hours at a time. One would think that I could be so much more productive flying rather than driving, but that just isn't the case. I can get about 30 minutes of computer time while in the terminal waiting to board the plane and that's about it. The planes these days - the CRJs I've been flying on, anyway - are too crowded to even think about pulling out my laptop in flight. Oh well. At least I get to work on crossword puzzles!

When you travel, do you prefer to drive or fly? Take a train? Ride the Greyhound? (Had a Greyhound trip once, years ago, and vowed to never EVER do that again!)

How do you travel?

Porn & You

Everyone (or nearly everyone) watches porn. It's easily available and there seems to be something for everyone, whatever your pleasure. Sensual and romantic, couples, groups, parties, gangbangs, public, bondage, foot fetish, pantyhose, anal... The variety is practically endless!

When I watch porn I try to imagine myself in place of the gal on the screen. Wherever she is being touched, I fantasize it's me being touched. Wherever the setting is, I imagine myself there. Whatever the conditions, I put myself in as the female. The "plot" isn't terribly important to me, so long as there is some titty grabbing, nipple pinching, and a pussy that gets played with.

That's how I enjoy my porn. How do you enjoy porn? Do you put yourself in the action like I do, or do you enjoy being the voyeur? Or perhaps you fantasize that you're the one fucking the porn stars? Tell me how you enjoy porn!
