I noticed several posts today in my area related to HNW (Half-Nekkid Wednesday). All by women - and all very popular; none by men. Perhaps guys on Passion instinctively realize that, whereas most of them go ga-ga for half-naked women, only a small fraction of women do so for half-naked men. Or perhaps some guy did try once and got mostly negative comments for his efforts. Just a quirky observation.
P.S. - This post is late today because Passion kept refusing to let me logon. I did the usual - tried clearing my cookies, then tried restarting my browser, then tried a different browser, then tried restarting my computer, then tried resetting my modem, then tried a different home computer, then some of these in tandem - all to no avail. The issue was due to a software update. Technology can be extremely useful - I use it all the time in my job - but when it keeps screwing up badly like this, you are reminded that technology will never be able to fully replace thinking humans.

Everyone is different and so there are things that some people enjoy sexually that others do not. Those that are enjoyed by a small minority of people are often labelled as kink. The definition of what is kinky and what is not varies from person to person. Some people would classify me as kinky for enjoying casual sex with both men and women or for having participated in group sex (with couples, in gangbangs, and in an orgy), whereas others would see these activities as vanilla.
I had one partner who had a fetish for socks and so asked me to wear white athletic socks while we had sex. Another wanted me to be blindfolded the entire time we had sex. I enjoy a bit of mild kink every now and then to add some variety to my sex life. (Yes, I see the irony in a guy who has sex with men, women, couples, and groups wanting even more variety on occasion.)

Desperate women

While channel surfing over the past few days, I caught snippets of two Canadian documentaries about western women who were desperate for love and affection and consequently found themselves being taken advantage of by unscrupulous men. The first concerned cases of marriage fraud, in which the foreign male feigned love in order to marry the woman and thus get Canadian PR status before dumping her. The second concerned women traveling to Bali who found males there showering them with attention in hopes of getting the women to buy expensive gifts - including cars and property - for them. One of the males interviewed for the documentary was married and his wife approved of him going out to have sex with gullible western women because he was earning a substantial income for the family via the expensive gifts he was receiving.
This raised several questions in my mind:
1. Have you ever been so blinded by love that you made some incredibly stupid decisions?
2. Have you ever lied to someone else to get sex? Or had someone else lie to you to get sex?
3. How do you rate sex vs. money?
My answers in brief:
1. Not to my knowledge.
2(a). I can't recall any specific instances, but am sure I must have at least once or twice.
2(b). Yes, I've had potential partners lie about their age, appearance, experience, etc. Small lies usually have not bothered me much; big lies have almost always been game over.
3. I'm not a big spender and have a more than adequate income, so would place sex ahead of money.

I made three posts this past week about my sexual adventures while visiting Ottawa. Usually the number of views and comments of a female member's blog spike upwards when she posts about a nsa encounter. In my case, they dipped. Perhaps this reflects a bit of apathy due to the start of the lazy, hazy days of summer. But I expect this just reflect the difference in interest on Passion between females and middle-aged males such as myself. Large numbers of male members here fantasize about having an nsa encounter with a female member, whereas much fewer members fantasize about having nsa encounters with a run-of-the-mill middle-aged man - especially if he happens to be bisexual. Why the interest?

I've written before about the ambiguity of flirts on Passion. Recently, I've gotten winks and other flirts from members whose profile specifically excludes me: couples whose profile clearly states that they are not interested in single males or that they are interested only in STRAIGHT males, females looking for males who have not been promiscuous, and males who either list themselves as straight or emphatically state in their profile that they do not want to be contacted by bisexual males. These strange flirts are from local members whose profile rings true - or at least doesn't immediately send off warnings of being spam bots or other fakes.
And so these flirts leave me scratching my head. Did these people lie in their profile about having no interest in bisexual males? Did they send me a flirt in error - without having read my profile or blog - though even my handle should make it clear that I am bisexual? Or are they merely flirting indiscriminately at lots of people in hopes of getting attention back and thus possibly gaining/retaining certain Passion privileges? I'm not sure what to make of them - and so have largely ignored these flirts. What do you think may be going on?

Ottawa odyssey: Morning call

I have described the first two days of my recent trip to Ottawa yesterday and the day before that. And so to complete the adventures...
Day 3: I was up and getting myself going by 7:30 the next morning. Why? Because promptly at 8am, I had a male visitor - yet another top I had arranged to meet. Ottawa odyssey: Third time the charm

Yesterday, I described the first day of my recent trip to Ottawa. And so to continue the adventures...
Day 2: I again had made arrangements for three meetings. The first guy showed up in the morning and was unable to perform - and so we never got past foreplay. I recently returned from my trip to Ottawa and - because I had prepared for it by contacting numerous couples and males ahead of this trip in hopes of finding a few who were interested in meeting and would actually show up - had several sexual adventures to share.
