Why the interest?

I've written before about the ambiguity of flirts on Passion. Recently, I've gotten winks and other flirts from members whose profile specifically excludes me: couples whose profile clearly states that they are not interested in single males or that they are interested only in STRAIGHT males, females looking for males who have not been promiscuous, and males who either list themselves as straight or emphatically state in their profile that they do not want to be contacted by bisexual males. These strange flirts are from local members whose profile rings true - or at least doesn't immediately send off warnings of being spam bots or other fakes.

And so these flirts leave me scratching my head. Did these people lie in their profile about having no interest in bisexual males? Did they send me a flirt in error - without having read my profile or blog - though even my handle should make it clear that I am bisexual? Or are they merely flirting indiscriminately at lots of people in hopes of getting attention back and thus possibly gaining/retaining certain Passion privileges? I'm not sure what to make of them - and so have largely ignored these flirts. What do you think may be going on?
