I'm 5'10" tall. Very short strawberry blond hair and green eyes. I started training for marathons two years ago. Completed my first one in December of '07 in Memphis. I'm not a runner. I'm a Race Walker. You've seen us. We're the people that walk really fast and look funny doing it!!
Update: Because so many of you have been asking about my training and if I've done any more marathons lately here's the latest... Unfortunately last fall I suffered from heart failure and was in the hospital for a while. I'm doing much much better now. I'm taking all my heart medications and have gotten back out and started walking again. No racewalking for now but just starting out slowly again. It's been a long time coming but I'm doing four miles at a time and it's baby steps for now. Thanks to all who have asked and been concerned. I appreciate it sooooo much!  If you're looking for someone that is tall, that's me. If you're looking for a very thin small lady, that's not me. I've gained about 15 pounds since having the heart failure. I'm not proud of it but it has happened. So, I'm one of those curvy ladies. I know that everyone has different tastes and some prefer very thin women and if you do that's perfectly fine. That's just not where I am anymore. I'm just being honest and up front about it. I'm not going to lie about how I look. Why would I? If we meet you're going to see for yourself now aren't you?
I'm very honest and open. You be too! Most times get togethers have to be planned ahead of time. However.......I have been known to be very spontaneous. It's rare but it does happen. If I say I'm going to meet with you I do. There are those of you out there that don't and I'll have none of that because I don't have the time to waste. Let's not play games. Don't waste your time or mine doing it. I love having a good time. Dinner, drinks, good conversation and good sex! I'm not opposed to sex on the first meeting if everything clicks. We're all adults here. We should know what we want. But if you prefer to get to know one another first, I have no problems with that at all. It might be fun to have an old fashioned courtship! Even though I'm very opened minded, deep down inside I'm really a very old fashioned lady. Yes, I can do anything for myself that I want to but I still love having my door opened for me. Having my chair pulled for me when we sit down for dinner, holding hands as we walk. Those are things that never go out of style, no matter how modern and hip you are.
Please be neat in appearance. I am. First impressions are VERY important. You don't get a second chance to make a first impression.

I'm looking for someone that wants the same thing that I do. A friendship with the benefits that go along with it on a regular basis. You must be fun and outgoing, full of energy. Be able to carry on a conversation. That goes a long way with me. I guess you can say I'm very picky. And yes I am.
