Apprehension. About what? Nothing really. Well, except an upcoming family reunion. Why am I apprehensive? Because most of them I either haven't seen in over 10 years and rhe rest even longer, if I have ever met them at all. This big event is the Reunion of my grandfather's side of the family. My mother's father's side of the family. My family. People who I don't knoe but should know; who I want to know. Who I want my own to know. My mother's family. My family. Our Family. So why am I apprehensive? What if there are those who don't like me? Isn't that a question that we ask when we meet strangers? It is sad to say that in a way just as much as we are family, a lot of us are strangers. It doesn't change the fact that we are blood, never would. I love family. I love my family. The ones of which I know. But what if the ones I do not know, do not love ME? Isn't that just weird to say about "family"? It is to me. Maybe it isn't apprehension. Maybe nervousness. Excitement. Greatfulness. I am greatful that this family reunion is happening. Gathering of strangers, bound by blood or by marriage, but FAMILY just the same. It is times like these that make me miss my grandmother. I never met my grandfather. He died exactly 2 weeks before I was born. I think that those 2 must have had an amazing love, because exactly 20 years to the day after my grandfather died, my grandmother died. I like to think that he came to carry her away with him. I imagine my grandfather as a strong, but quiet, loving, man. I am sure that the rest of my family is just as wonderful as I imagine him to have been.

As many of you know, I am a full figured woman, and I feel Phenomenal within my own skin. But there are many who just don't have a healthy body image. Ok, after commenting on HeartlessBitch69 blog, I just thought I would pose this question: Why do people only allow those within their networks to comment on their blogs?? I think that is such a bogus way to be! I mean, we are all bloggers, and how is it fair for one to make a comment on someone else's blog, yet they can't return the favor!! Is it that they are afraid to hear what others think besides the ones in their network? I don't get it!! I just don't see the reason behind limiting my blog that way! I welcome all comments, even those who don't agree with me! I hate that! I have even wanted to say something nice and couldn't because of me not being in the person's network! Ok, I have been reading a few blogs, and have noticed a growing trend. People are coming out of their costumes and showing their true colors!! I am gonna swipe a reference made by the oh so sexy MOFUNNOWWOW "Sheep in Wolves Clothing" !! D and I have been hurt by someone before by their lies, and of course numerous games. Why is it that so many people feel the need to get joy by hurting others? I mean we are all adults here! Why is it that many are still playing high school games?
