Frustrated

Frustrated my profile says I'm a light smoker (about half a pack a day) I meet up with a guy, who is fully aware because we talked about it, never said a word about it being an issue. We " hook up" twice and a month goes by with out messages being returned or what have you. Finally he decides to be honest and it's an issue. He doesn't like that I'm a smoker and it turns him off. Ok fine. No problem. I can not smoke if I'm meeting up with you, let me know. NOTHING!! no worries I get it, lots of stuff turns me off. I'm up front about it and honest and move on. So here we are 2 maybe 3 months later and he's still looking at my profile. Still no word..... What gives? Not saying he can't look it's a free world and I put my shit out there but he made the choice to not see me. Why still look? |

He might not be looking at your profile. If someone's mouse passes over your profile and the little box pops up, it registers as them looking at your profile. Also, do you have semi-nude or nude pictures on your profile? He could be looking at your profile for stroke material. And yeah, the smoking thing is rough. I didn't realize until I quit smoking that that smell is in your clothes, hair, and on your skin. And even if you clean all of that, it's inside you so no matter how good the mouthwash you use, it's literally wafting out of your lungs. Much better luck next time around.

Well yes he may not acually be looking at your profile - i to have been thanked for looking at a profile but all i did was see the smaller intro cos i put my mouse over the pic. The smoking smell can still be hidden a bit more by taking extra care with your clothes and perfume. Get a good clothing wash conditioner. And forget the last man - his loss. Plenty more to choose from. Have fun.

Being a smoker myself i know how it feels to have someone judge you because of it and it sucks My advice it to date a fellow smoker so you don't feel ashamed about it and can both do it openly without feeling guilty
