How accurate is Astrology?

I've followed it most of my life, and I'm a Scorpio to the core, even on points I hate to admit to. But how accurate is it for others? I've dated almost every sign except Pisces and Libra. Never will go another Aries as the ones I have did fit the Aries mold. Same with Leo, all of them even just friends, were too damn narcissistic! Taurus isn't soo bad, same with Scorpio, as we have a tendency to understand each other. But all this might just be me looking for the traits of their signs.

Personally, I don't believe in astrology. Daily astrology reports are always vague and because of that, we can all relate to what is posted. For example "You will talk to the person who you are having a conflict with." I do believe we never get along with everyone. We might have an argument with someone whether be mild or serious. So in that, many take it "OMG. That is so true!!" What I find funny is that the new study revealed that some people aren't really what their signs were a year ago. So how true are we to the old one, much less the new sign?

i guess astrology is just to get a general idea of who/ what the person might be like... everyone is still different period.
keep looking and trying 'til you find someone you wanna be with.

Astrology is nothing more than a systemization of the human tendency to see patterns even where none really exists-- like seeing faces in clouds. There is no genetic, biochemical, or neurological reason to think that birthday influences personality type. Moreover, as someone above pointed out, the things written in astrology are intentionally so vague as to appeal to anyone who wants to believe.

In Japan, similar things are believed about blood type as about star signs in the west-- it's just as much nonsense.

That said... with the vagaries of human compatibility and "chemistry"... it's entirely possible that you could do just as well following astrology for relationship advice as listening to "experts", your friends, or (yikes!) family... so good luck!

I put no stock in it because there's no conclusive evidence supporting it, and as hypothalamic states above the vagueness of it makes it fit anyone's wishes. There's no scientific rigor to the practice of it as well.
