April 23 Sorry for not posting yesterday but nothing happened. Same cannot be said for today. Today we met face to face with a couple who we have been chatting with here at Passion. After much talking between us and a sudden schedule change we were able to pull off a meet and greet. Of course before we actually met all the different scenarios were running through my head. We would meet and we wouldn't like each other. We would like them and they wouldn't like us. They would love one of us and not the other. And every other possible outcome. We had scheduled the meet at 1030 but because of an emergency, wife wanted to get her hair done, we had to push it back to 1100, late last night. So I emailed them and had no response at the time I left for work. So to insure we do not miss them I showed up at 1015 to wait for them. Well they had gotten the message because at 1045 when my wife called to say she was on her way no one matching the description I was given was there. So I sit there by myself waiting thinking what if they had given me a false description and are sitting there watching me. Or had come in saw me and said "HELL NO" and left without letting me know. Well 1055 comes and in walks a couple matching the description I was given. I look at the male and think "Oh, wife will like that" then I look at the female I think "ME LIKEY". I start to stand up to introduce myself when a thought runs through my little brain, what would they say when behind the mask of the internet they are talking to a couple but at the meet it is just a single male with a lame excuse why the wife is not there. NOT LIKE THAT HAPPENS HERE AT Passion. So I decide to wait till my wife gets there. The Couple takes a seat a bit away from me. A few minutes later my wife arrives I point out who I think the couple is and we gather up our stuff and head over. Well they were the couple we were there to meet. So we say hello and I take an instant liking to them. Later I find out so did my wife. So I am expecting to talk, make some pleasantries, and schedule another meet later, half hour maybe forty five we are done. Well two hours later after talking about everything under the sun it is time for them to leave. We all got along great and all we were doing was talking and sex played a very small role in the conversation. Wive exchange cell numbers, we say our goodbyes and head off to do some errands before heading home. Well of course while doing our errands the conversation is dominated by the meet and greet. We discuss what we thought, how we felt, what we are feeling now and whatever else we could talk about to over analyze this couple. Bottom line we like this couple and can see ourselves hanging out with them at the beach, or a movie or dinner, we would be okay with just doing nothing with them. We are open to where ever this encounter leads. Well now we await the turning of the page for this story. Where it leads we are not completely sure but we walk this road together. |

Forgive me for lurking on the sidelines but I commend you on a most thoughtful and considered Blog. There are many writers (at least they think they can write) here who don't even give the subject much thought before committing comment to page. Having been in your shoes a number of times I can relate to your feelings. Slightly different in my case but similar none the less. Good luck to you both in your search for "friends". It's true, "nothing ventured, nothing gained". I've met some very nice people here. I hope the same for you . You sound like very nice people. Keaweman
