Just a little something...

I was having a very interesting conversation with a friend of mine earlier this evening, and some of what we were talking about reminded me that I had this saved in my computer from awhile ago, so I thought I would share it...

PAIN

Pain and pleasure, each a unique sensation, but frequently entwined, like lovers, one completes the other.

I feel you with me every time I move, my body aches, muscles protest, each twinge reminding me of our most recent night together.

I know that this physical pain wont last, yet it is now an ever present reminder of the pleasure we shared.

Now I am here, and you are there, both of us alone. But I shudder as the pain makes me relive every moment of our pleasure, and heightens my anticipation of seeing you again.

It reaffirms that you are mine, and I am yours, if only for a moment in time when we will again indulge in the pleasure we crave. We do it freely knowing that we exchange it for the exquisite pain and memories in the days that follow.
