chase or not chase

Not so long ago, someone said to me that he was getting annoyed with being expected to be the one to do all the chasing all the time. I thoroughly agreed with him. But after all the work I've done lately with no fruition, I'm beginning to realise why some women don't bother putting that extra bit of effort in. Cause I've reached the point where I'm so disillusioned by the whole experience I'm starting to think why bother.... why should be so difficult to find a normal sane person for 'casual sex'. I admit my fussiness doesn't help or could it just be no woman like repeated rejections.
