The Theory Unveiled (Drumroll please...) With reference to my post on To GUYS, which makes a better profile pic pic in previous post with accompanying photos of I would think is a juicy looking pussy as well as some bury-me-in-those boobies, my target was to get 100 votes for this poll and I only managed to muster 65 votes, which I figure should be enough to prove the point. Here was my theory: Genitals generally do not look pretty/attractive. Upfront and in-your-face pictures of genitals are more likely to put a person off rather than attract the viewer, especially when compared against photos of other parts of the body which are normally associated with being attractive, such the chest, butt, face, eyes, arms, etc (of course this is also dependant on the individual's physique). So the results of my poll showed that out of 65 voters (presumably all male), there were 18 votes (28% ) that the pussy was more attractive as a potential A F F profile pic while there were 47 votes (72% ) that the boobies pic was more attractive. Based on this, I can safely say that approximately 3 out of 4 guys would be more attracted to a female profile pic of boobies as compared to a pussy pic. Note that this is even though the boobs were still covered up. Fascinating. The point of all this, if you haven't figure it out already, is basically to get across the message that people generally prefer not to see pictures of genitals. Genital pics may be atrractive to some people (approximately 1 out of every 4 people?) but don't assume it is attractive to all. If you guys would rather look at boobies pics rather than have an in-you-face view of a woman's pussy, the same goes for the ladies... most of us would be more attracted to other parts of your body than your junk. Hence all ye guys who love showing off pics of your little johnny, no maybe how impressively huge your equipment is, don't assume all the ladies here wanna see it prior to a romp. Unless they ask Tadaaa.. that's the point.  On an interesting side note, I've also done a bit of research on men's profiles and their photos, and wanted to do a comparison on how many guy put up penis pics as THEIR profile photos as opposed to pics of other body parts. Since there are so many profiles on this list, I have be a good scientist and take a sample, which was males looking for women only aged between 27 and 28 years old, located in my area - Selangor, Malaysia). I only counted profiles with pictures. So out of approximately 240 profiles with photos viewed, I counted 49 profiles with dick profile pics. That comes up to only about 20% of guys who would put up penis pics... which is about a bit less than the percentage of guys who prefer to see pussy pics accordingly my poll results. I supposed it makes sense that that the same guys who prefer pussy pics would probably be the same guys who think they have a fine looking piece of equipment worth showing off. Fascinating! |

By the way, this is not to say guys should only put up face pics... as assumed by some. It would be too much to ask on a site where anonymity is the best policy. But you can be creative in so many other ways... pic of your arms or chest or back...even back of the head (if the rest of you don't have a particularly chiselled physique ;P).

I wonder if there is a correlation between your findings and guys who do engage in cunnilingus? Would these guys prefer a pussy pic instead?  Are the 3/4s boobs-men? Would it have made a difference if you had a third choice in there - legs? Gotta love them statisticians!

I can't believe that nobody thought to do this survey before. Well done! And I should also say thank you dearly too. I have to say that I have been feeling a little inadequate that I have not been able to create a dick pick of my own. I find it soul destroying that I find it impossible to maintain a proud post while trying to figure how to operate a digital camera. Funny thing is that when I was a young lad and could not even avoid hoisting a raging towering boner just seeing myself naked in the mirror I was too bloody shy to let anyone see. Actually I would think a face pic is only a good idea IF a person is reasonably good looking. If you're plain looking or just fugly, it is a bit unlikely to attract much attention. It also depends on how the pic is taken. I've seen face pics of guys here who look bored, too serious, have their eyes cropped out like a criminal profile pic... and nothing about such pics makes me wanna jump into bed and hump that guy. Therefore I advocate pics of other body parts... as I've seen quite a number of interesting pics of a guy's chest or arms. On the last comment, I've also heard stories of women chatting up guys with big penises just for curiosity's sake. Some of them don't even want to have sex... they just like to check out the equipment. I heard from one guy who met up with a woman who only wanted to see his cock... apparently she was intrigued at the size. But that was it, no sex. :S

The purpose of my poll was to compare a genital pic against a non-genital pic, so adding a pic of legs which is a non-genital pic would have skewed the results. Perhaps if i put in pics of legs and another pic of a pussy, or maybe a girls arse. You know, for all the guys who love anal.
