Being to discreet can be a problem.

Two weeks ago I met with a guy for dinner. He wrote me a few times and seemed to be a nice guy so I agreed to go out with him. He told me he had to be very discreet because of his job and him being in the public eye. His profile said he was single. Well I soon found out later from friends that he lied to me and he was married and playing on the side without his wife's knowledge. Good thing I only met him for dinner and nothing else that evening. I did report him to the site and his profile has been removed. Just want to let my group friends know that some persons on here on the site who are being real discrete may lead up to a problem. I am now only meeting with people who know people who can vouch for them. Has anyone else have any comments to share about being discrete? Hugs, Julie.

 You are on the right track. We quit going out and meeting those who are discreet privately. Found it mostly to be a waste of time. We only go to group meets and parties to make contact with people.

 I am upfront about wives cheating on husbands. No way! Group settings tend to be the best due to you know they are for real..but I still will meet the right one privately.

I understand your concern and frustration, but please be discrete when trying to verify people through their friends. Some people aren't comfortable sharing the fact that they join adult websites, even with friends. Instead, you can tell them that you met on a dating site or got his/her # from a mutual friend.
