A Slut's Rant....

Let me preface this by saying I love men. I believe that fun comes in all shapes, sizes, and skin colors. Single men have been and will probably continue to be my favorite playmates. I have defended the “Dreaded Single Male (DSM)” both in particular and in general. Although, I do find it amusing that the acronym DSM also applies to the “Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders”.

But…

There are single males that continue to annoy me. The ones that contribute to the DSM rants of couples and single women everywhere. Were they just “born jerks” or are they just “ignorant” of lifestyle etiquette? After all, men and women do speak completely different languages. In the hopes that they “know not of which they do”, here’s a few subtle hints.

1. Do not assume that women in the lifestyle are indiscriminate nymphomaniacs who either will, are told to, or are obligated to fuck any man who comes along. We are also not all aspiring porn stars, fetish models, or phone sex operators who need lots of practice so we can someday be good enough to get our dream job.

2. Women enter and enjoy the lifestyle for a myriad of reasons. Do not assume that we must all have daddy issues, low self esteem, or some other physiological problem. Do not assume that we need or want you to come rescue us from this degrading lifestyle. Get to know us a bit before you treat us like a damsel in distress.

3. Slang and fetish terms often mean different things to different people. I am a self described slut. For me, a slut is a man or a woman who believes that sex is not the same thing as love and that pleasure is good for you. I doubt that every time someone is referred to as a “slut” my definition is the one that is being used. Do not pigeon hole people based on the fetishes they admit to enjoying. If you are interested, respectfully ask for more details. If you are not, practice saying “it takes all kinds” and move on.

4. When playing with a couple, be respectful of their relationship. Do not ask the woman to keep a secret, meet you on the sly, or encourage her to confide in you. Do not assume that the couple is in the lifestyle because the husband is lacking in some way. Do not behave as if you are the woman’s boyfriend. Be friendly, but not overly familiar right away.

5. Be respectful of other people’s time. If you commit to something, show up. If you can’t make it, cancel ahead of time. Don’t expect other people to drop everything because you happen to be free right now. As one of my good friends would say… wtf, do they think it’s as easy as ordering pizza?

And for those of you who don’t get subtlety…Stop thinking with your dick instead of your brain.

Thanks for taking the time to read my venting. Comments and questions are welcomed. I originally wrote this for the guys in my gang bang group, but thought it might be apreciated here as well.

I'm a guy and I agree totally with everything you are saying! I honestly don't know why so many guys are either just plain stupid, lazy (more likely), or just don't care (most likely) and figure, "wtf, if I can get someone to have sex with me regardless of how I act, etc, why not?!" Amazingly, I have to assume it works for them otherwise there wouldn't be so much of it going on??! Anyway, that's not the way I'm wired, so if you're at all intrigued, go check out my profile and get back to me!
