The View
The store window drew me near
Lace and satin showed clear
Delicate items on display
Just for me on this day

Standing at that window
The view is like a photo
A magazine front cover
Of a neglected lover

I slowly turn away
Fearful to stay
Gone is the desire
Only embers, once a fire

 Each book, story or poem starts with the first idea. I do not have to tell you this, but.. here it is anyway! lolol

Outline, outline outline! If I have a lot to write then this helps me tremendously. Keeps me focused on each idea and before I know it, it is finished!
