Cardinals and Steelers WON!

Cardinals AND Steelers made me proud today.

But I will admit to almost having a stroke at the last moment!!

Yeah, that's all nice, warm fuzzy stuff. But more importantly the Raiders beat the Broncoss by 1 point. I lived in Colorado for 9 years and could hardly ever wear my Raiders gear w/o taking grief, or worse, by those Colorado "Raider Haters."

The Raiders and Cards are in different divisions so they rarely play each other. I saw a scrimmage between them once. It ended in less than 20 minutes when both teams, and I do mean both teams, began throwing blows and worse. Grow up boys. Fans go to see an organized sport, not a free-for-all.

To be truth full tho', I will be glad to see the season over. The football blogs are interesting. But I am hoping that Almost will spend more space to the enticing sex subjects

WOW.. Thank you SanDiego! That was great information.

Because I am still learning about football, I find it great fun to guess and see how close I am to the actual winner. Facebook has a great program that allows me to guess the winner but not spend any money.

That is MY kind of betting!

I underestimated the speed and accuracy of the Green Bay Packers' wide receivers and the quick release of G.B. quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Also, Pittsburg's secondary did not place a good game, often confused and out of place trhought the games. However, they play Baltimore in Pittsburg this Sunday. No surprises as each team knows each other very well. However they really HATE EACH OTHER. There is a lot of "bad blood" between them. With that Baltimore will take some "cheap shots", late hits, etc., to get the Steelers to react. Pittsburg will "fired up" and will win 24-23. (It may not be that close, but I am just being conservative, for a change). The Cardinals were rolling until that 100 yard interception of Kurt Warner's pass for a touchdown. The momentum changed, and it became a dogfight. Had Arizona scored on that play they would have been up by 24, and probably had scored 45 points. However, they come home the Sunday and play the St. Louis Rams, a bad team. If Arizona doesn't take them lightly (you never know) mthey should win easily, especially being at home.
