Alas, the time has come
Night has fallen and it is dark
This is when darkness and I become fun
Yes, this is the time I leave my mark

Bed is calling my name
I am not one to stay away
Call me I need no fame
Night sends away the day

Now off I go to dream
Seeing myself floating off
Ascending above the scene
Not to hear the scoff
