To Be "Almost"

I have been asked many times about "Almost".. Here is a response I recently sent:

Almost gives room to have input from another. An opening that allows for growth. It is a realization that I still am "not all that and a bag of chips". Almost also means that Yes, I am almost there.. Which by my account is very good as I know many who have no clue!! I have a clue and a realization that to be a keeper requires someone who desires what the keeper offers. Once that is matched I will be a keeper and so will he.

Hope that clears up my thoughts regarding being ..

 Ahhh, ponderisms ( your previous post ). I understand that one. Fearful? I must confess I understand that one as well. Once burnt you tend to steer away from the fire. Prudent I suppose. Problem with that is you then miss the warmth...

However, you are cheerful today and that is a good thing! It is a very nice day out there this morning.

Oh, and that ' glass half full / half empty' thing - why can't we all just realize anything in the glass is a good thing? It is a greed thing isn't it...?

Helping the elderly? Your heart is bigger than what I imagined.

 I would guess that 95% of my year is spent looking at the glass as half full. Being human, there are times when that glass is half empty, but not often.

I write about the realization that I miss what I want. Sometimes I have a tantrum. Sometimes I cry. Sometimes I reject it all. But for the most part, I let life guide me.

 That's nice. The ebb and flow of relationships. Fill in each other holes in a soothing way. The process of becoming something greater than the two individuals involved with one another. "Almosy" in that context gives me hope.

Just to share, the first thought in my mind was a bit sadder, sorry to say. That despite the greatest of loves, we are all Raggidy Ann dolls. The winds of fortune, misfortune, and gale force storms tear away the bonds that keep. We are keepers but keeping what means the most to us, in the face of a unfair world in turbulent times, is sometimes the greateest of challenges.

I like your explanation. Thanks "Almost." It is more optimistic than mine. You remind me that I am an optimist, too.
