Damage Done

Poor Arc Angel Michael is broke
Damage done is no joke
His arm and wing missing parts
His sword unable to protect hearts

Yet he stays around to soothe
Hearts broken and bruised
He can no longer cast out
He now protects hearts from doubt

So when he comes to mind
It is because someone unkind
Has tried to push themselves on me
Michael is always here you see

It seems to me that time is brief
No grudge to hold, great relief
No personal judgment comes from me
Live and let live my ideal you see

I will not become nasty or bitter
No man causes me to shake and quiver
So do your best to cause me grief
Michael will give me relief
