The Mirror

I have looked into the mirror of self.  Not a very pretty picture I must say...

To look at self is not easy
The vision I see hurts my soul
At times it makes my stomach queazy
But I truly want my self whole

So look I will even if it causes pain
Because I know I have to change
My actions keep me in the rain
My thoughts to rearrange

Ugly it is at times
To see what I have learned
Now I listen to the chimes
Realizing what I have not earned

What we learn when we are a
Is not always the way
It is not necessary to be wild
The present is the place to stay

To win does not mean someone has to loose
And to play means I get to enjoy
Life is to be played as I choose
And I choose to allow myself this little toy

So much to think about...
