Dear Man..

Can you hear my cries in the night?
Sweet one I struggle with all my might
Not wanting to cling nor be a pest
How does one show love for the best?

Your touch it makes my skin quiver
You know how my muscles shiver
My lips parched as I start to rewet
My tongue searching, but you say not yet

Oh my dear one so involved with work
I miss the words you use with such quirk
The way you look at me when we kiss
Oh yes, this is what I truly miss

So when you can, will you take me in your arms?
