Is everything about This is not a sexual post. I had a favor to ask someone I considered a friend. We were lovers at one point. It was a favor akin to someone asking a co-worker to purchase chocolates that their are selling. He refused, pretty much saying "what's in it for me?" I realize he isn't really a friend. He keeps asking to have sex with me again, which I won't be doing and wouldn't have even if he had said yes. It does disturb me since we know each other 5 years. Does everyone look to see what's in it for them when a favor is asked? Ok, I know that's not the case since a few friends DID come through but it saddens me to know that some people who say they are friends are really not.  |

Yes and no. Most of the time I don't think what is in it for me. But if the person is not a very good friend, heck yes I wonder what is doing this favor going to do for me... For true friends I will do anything I can to help them...want to be my friend?

CougarwithClass, he'd be the first to say we are friends. I now see him in a new light. I help my friends. denali533,sure I would like that but you have to write me. lol I've asked you to before but... I do agree that for someone I barely know, I won't necessarily do a favor and that's fine. For a friend, I would.

Denali533, I just explained about why I was suspended for a short time but they deleted that part. I'm not sure why. What do you want to know about getting my driver's license? I hope I pass. I am very nervous about it.

I'm confident you will do fine...curious why you waited this long to get yours? Easy to say, but hard to do, don't act nervous. Drive like your write. Do you ever web cam?

I was too practical. My dad didn't let my older sister drive his car so I knew I'd have no car to drive. Time passed and I always intended to do it but didn't until 5 years ago. Since then, I've had many things happen including my mom's brain tumour (she's ok now) so I am trying to pass. I am not fond of cams. I did it for a bit and it started boring me. It would be nice to have a private chat instead of one here. lol
