It's ME!

My philosophy has always been that a stranger is just a friend I havent met yet.

About me: I am considered by most of todays society to be a sex-worker. The definition of this can vary to include , escort, stripper, porn star, FBSM provider, et al. However, being that I am pagan and have a different attitude than todays society, I label myself as a Holy , Sacred , and Sexual Healer/Surrogate the definition of which is:

a woman, who, through ritual or psychological development, has come to know the spiritual side of her sexuality, her true Eroticism, and lives this out according to her individual circumstances.

Paganism predates Christianity. It is an earth based religion and the umbrella under which pantheism, polytheism, and Wiccan falls. All Wiccans are pagans but not all pagans are Wiccans. Polytheism is basically the belief in Gods AND Goddesses and not necessarily one single divine being. Pantheism (under which my beliefs are) is a nature based type of worship. I do not believe nor disbelieve in the Gods or Goddesses but my concentration/belief/worship is focused toward nature and the relationship that we, as human animals, have with the energy that abounds within and all around us.

In early times (before Christianity) a woman was considered a God because it was woman who could support and carry life to ensure the continuation of the species, therefore women were sacred. These early pagans believed that sacred sex (not to be confused with sex for procreation or with sex just for the hell of it) brought them closer to the divine and women who allowed themselves to follow the path of sacred sex became Temple prostitutes. Men, in order to become closer to God, would pay a tribute to the temple (money or something of value) and have sex with the temple as a form of worship and enlightenment. This is the gist of it, there is much more to it than what can be written in a paragraph.

When the Christianity movement began, naturally Pagans were seen as heathens and unworthy due to their beliefs in Gods/Goddesses who were not the one true God. All forms of pagan worship, beliefs, and rituals were deemed as sinful acts against God. Again this is a nutshell explanation.

Being who I am and what I believe in, sex is a natural instinct which is a health benefit (scientific fact) if done safely. It relieves stress which can be a number one predecessor of ill health, lowers blood pressure, and relieves anxiety. Sexual therapy/healing/surrogacy is much more than base fornication to get your rocks off. It is a therapeutic modality which can increase self-esteem, teach intimacy and passion, and relieve guilt associated with what main stream society believes is bad. It can improve relations between men and women in marriages, it can teach you to let yourself go and enjoy positive energy.

I like that philosophy. I have always agreed with it, and am trying to subscribe to it actively as of late. It's easy to lose track of the importance of human relations in the fast-paced world we live in, and forget about the "simple" things in life such as the enrichment that a meaningful conversation with a friend (or anyone, for that matter) can bring to one's life. I have to declare myself guilty of that, and that is why I am trying to change it.

I admire the clarity with which you see the importance of sex and the many functions and benefits it has. It's sad how this (mostly) this side of the world still gets a rush of color to the face when something with the faintest hint of sexuality is brought up in a "formal" environment. It's almost as if we were expected to renounce to that very natural and essential part of our beings. I do confess that I know nothing about sexual healing (though I've heard the term before) nor sacred sex, but am intrigued now.

It was a pleasure to read your blog.

I totally agree.
Sex is healthy, healing and a gift to be enjoyed properly and fully.
With the right person(s) and with the right uninhibited and openness.

Sadly most societies discourage this openness and instead inflict and enforce a "it's dirty and you can't do that unless you have a license from the state and the church" system.

Free Love is where it is at.....
