A rookies' journey through AFF

I signed on to Passion after a friend reccomended it. He said it was a great place to meet "like- minded" people. So far, this has been true for the most part. Yes I have encountered some...different people. But I don't judge or disregard anyone. We all have our kinks...who am I to judge? So, back to the topic at hand...
I first thought I was looking for the occassional hot and sexy hook-up. But then the question came up....what if the "hook-up" is all that and a bucket of chicken? What do i do now? Maybe I should be open to the possibilty of more? Will that update scare away potential hotties?
