after work

he called to say he was on his way home
he sounded so tired, drained
sounded like he had a bad day, i hate that "stressed" sound his voice carries
he sounded like his head was hurting, his voice changes that way
i had dinner cooking, his favourites
his bath water already drawn, he'll need to soak...after
i heard the car pull in the driveway
i positioned myself, no panties was always his favourite
i heard the keys open the door and i felt myself get wetter
I heard him climb the stairs, slowly...and my breathing picked up
His steps drew near..and i could feel myself drip
He walked in, sucked his breath in
I looked over my shoulder at him and said "take your bad day out on this baby"
I'm here...to please YOU.
And so he did, and somehow i was the one who ended up pleased
