Phase 1 of The XXXmas Card Contest is now OVER... TUNE IN TOMORROW TO CAST YOUR VOTE FOR ONE OF THE TEN FINALISTS! 'Tis the season to show how naughty and nice you can be - with Passion's XXXmas Card Contest! Create a virtual greeting card with a photo of your own fine self and a holiday message to Passion members and you could win Gold! Perhaps you're an elf wrapping up some special toys for naughty boys. Or one of Santa's helpers baking some suggestively-shaped sweets. Or even jolly ol' Saint Nick himself, proving just how jolly he can be... Your face must be visible in the photo. We want to see who's getting coal and who's getting candy! Non-religious props are welcome, so be creative and have fun, but please: no animals, (nor people other than the member in the photo i.e. photos must be of MEMBERS ONLY. For handles designated as Couples and Groups, all of the parties who are part of that couple or group may all appear in the festive photo!). One entry per membership so submit your best entry! We'll be awarding prizes for the Best Woman's Card, Best Man's Card, Best TS/TV/TG Card, Best Couple Card, and Best Group Card. To enter, post a comment here containing your photo and greeting. YOUR Passion HANDLE -- written or printed on a sign -- SHOULD BE CLEARLY VISIBLE IN THE PHOTO. The deadline to enter is Monday, December 1 at 11:59 a.m. (PDT). The Passion staff will review the entries on Monday, December 1. The top finalists in each category will be announced on Tuesday, December 2, and member voting on those finalists will go until Monday, December 8 at 11:59 a.m. (Please note that votes made to entries prior to December 2 will not be counted.) The deadline to vote is Monday, December 8 at 11:59 a.m. (PDT). Winners will be announced later that day. How to enter the XXXmas Card Contest: 1. Deck those halls, put on your holiday finery, WRITE A NOTE WITH YOUR HANDLE ON IT TO INCLUDE IN THE SHOT, snap a photo, and save it as a .jpg or .gif. 2. Upload the image - just click "Browse" next to the photo/icon section when you go to Add a Reply. You'll be able to upload a photo directly from your computer. 3. Add your holiday greeting in the text box. 4. Click the "Post" button. It's that easy! How to vote for one of the finalists (between December 2nd - December 8th): 1. Special polls for each of the five categories (Best Woman, Best Man, Best TS/TV/TG, Best Couple, Best Group) will be created and posted on Tuesday, December 2. They will feature the photo entries of the finalists. Next to each entry is a round "radio" button. Click the radio button next to your favorite entry to cast your vote. 2. Each member is allowed to vote once per poll. 3. The finalists receiving the most votes will win. Specific Contest Rules: 1. All photos must adhere to the Photo Guidelines. 2. Photos may not be digitally enhanced or altered and must not include other people. The member's face and handle must be clearly visible in the photo. (We reserve the right to delete entries without visible handles and/or that we are not otherwise able to authenticate.) 3. All entries must be submitted by Monday, December 1 at 11:59 a.m. (PDT). 4. All votes must be cast between Tuesday, December 2 and Monday, December 8 at 11:59 a.m. (PDT). 5. Note: Categories are subject to elimination if there aren't at least three qualified entrants. 6. General Contest Rules apply. These rules have been recently updated to include the following: a. Passion.com is not responsible for entries that it does not receive for any reason, including technical malfunctions. b. If a member receives a prize, he or she is not eligible to win another prize for 90 days unless otherwise noted in the specific contest. 7. Entries that do not adhere to these rules will be disqualified and can be deleted without notice. Prizes for this contest are: First place winners in each category win a 1-year Gold membership and an Passion T-shirt. Runners-up in each category win a 6-month Gold membership and an Passion T-shirt. The finalists in each category will receive 500 points. |
