Government corruption again...

It has come to pass once again. You listen to ALL that is being done to stop the SPILL and clean up the nightmare. But when you start digging under the surface and see how things are being run and how things are organized - there it is. The dark corrupt underbelly of what is called our government.

Justice is blind.

Looking outward,

Mav

I saw the other day that 71 days after the spill, Pres. Obama has finally decided to accept help from 12 of the 30 countries and agencies that offered help. 71 days! Why did he wait so long?

Here we go again with the blame Bush crap.

Instead of rescinding the Jones act so more foreign help can come in ... Blame Bush.

Instead of telling the EPA to back off on the possible danger to the environment from the clean up, as if the spill its self isn't bad enough ... Blame Bush.

Etc ... etc ... Yawn ... it gets old after awhile.

I take no glee it "attacking" Obama. His actions only point out the folly of government being able to do everything for everybody. He and his "team" has mismanaged this disaster right from the start. If you think this is bad, just wait until the full weight of nationalized health care comes down on us all. At least you all won't be able to blame Bush for that. But I'm sure some will try.

Lady Edy,

Yep. It is like kids on a playground that just don't want to play together, and not share their toys.

The mess left from Bush will haunt us for years, with no easy fix.

Thanks,

Mav

Hi Good day Oldenough,

Yep, another good question. The article I have read, also has worker being paid to just stand around waiting for direction were to start.

It is all very, very difficult to absorb with out going insane. But we all move on in our own little painful world.

Alvin,

(Please be kind. No personal attacks. Or you will not be welcome.)

Straight up, Bush left this country in a HUGE mess. End of story. So far, Obama has not started any wars with other countries.

EPA, has never had their act together and has always been more concerned about protecting big business than the general population.

Oil Spill Disaster, yep, problems with government not being able to run anything well, correctly, or with measured funds. What ever president is in office. (Hmmmm, lets look at worse case scenarios, Horizon Oil Spill vs Katrina. Buy all counts, Katrina still ranks higher for complete ineptitude of the government in place at the time.)

Nationalized Health Care, big corp health care lobbyists will never let good health care legislation get put into place. Period. Again, a broken system which could have a sock puppet as the president.

Thanks for stopping by,

Mav
